Dahl

Dahl is surprisingly easy to make and also super tasty. I had heard a lot about the dish before I made it the first time, and I didn’t really understand the fuzz. To me it doesn’t look very inviting. But it is good!

Ingredients:
3 dl of red lentils
Two cans of crushed tomatoes
1 big onion
3 garlic cloves
Garam masala
Cumin
Chili flakes
Turmeric
2 vegetable stock cubes with 6 dl of water
1 red chili
1 lime for serving
Coriander for serving
Sour cream or Tofutti (vegan sour cream) for serving

How to:
1. Cut and fry the onion, garlic cloves and chili in the spices.
2. Add the lentils and fry them for a few minutes.
3. Then add the vegetable stock and crushed tomatoes.
4. Let it simmer for around 30 minutes and serve with lime, coriander and sour cream.
